Pewaukee varsity basketball

My older brother Nick plays basketball, he practices with the varsity but usually plays on JV. A lot of Nick's friends talk to me a lot like David Girmschied, Jordy, and so on. Some of my dreams is to play on Firday's on the varsity team because of the game of basketball and the pleasure of making varsity. I know a lot of them as they know me and it would be really fun to do the same being a varsity player then talking to the younger kids.

                                                                Response to “The Circuit”
What is it like to have nobody listen to you and move all the time? In the story “The Circuit” by Francisco Jimenez, there’s a character Panchito who is a kid that helps his dad that is a migrant farmer. A migrant farmer is a farmer who moves when the crops are bad or when they aren’t in season. They work as a migrant farmer because of the families need for money and the mother doesn’t work in the short story “The Circuit”. They don’t seem like the happiest family that’s why the story is a tragedy.
The short story “The Circuit” is a tragedy for several reasons. The little boy Panchito is just a kid that tries to go to school but he can’t because his father is a migrant farmer, they never stay in one spot. While they move to a very amusing and very affordable spot Panchito gets into school, it was the most blissful time of his life his teacher liked him he loved to read, everything was going great, but then horrifying things happened. Panchito walked into his house one day with everything packed up and was forced to move as he approached his dad to question him why they are moving he had no excuse he felt it was too wrong not to be moving.
Although they moved again after that, Panchito didn’t get over it his life wasn’t the same. He worked as hard as he could to keep the family alive giving up education to support the family. His father knew that was wrong as he was living in guilt.  He would never be able to take that back, so they moved on to being there usually migrant farmer family.
Than finally it became clear that it was a tragedy when Panchito couldn’t go to school and had to go back to his migrant farmer life. When he also found out that the one screaming guy that he looked forward to all day left he had no business wanting to work or be happy.   Panchito would work day to day week to week year to year and he never got a break, he always would look forward to the screaming guy that would yell out “ Ya esora” in his broken Spanish voice.
This basically sums up why the story is a tragedy. The story is very realistic and if you have ever had a dream about the old west or being a farmer you would understand the story. The story also is based in the mid day through the whole day which follows the symbolism chart for comedy and tragedy.

Carrol College experience

When my friend and I went to the Carrol College basketball camp we meet a kid named Bogey. Bogey had to be the funniest kid I know. He was good at basketball so Drew and I always picked him. I remember his favorite line was (He's stoking it baby with a capitol B). That was one of the funniest things ever because he said everytime he made a shot or just wanted to say something. He once had 4 gatorades in about 1 minuet, I have never seen anybody do that. It was one of my favorite camps and I am for sure going there again. 1 because it was fun to play basketball. 2 because Bogey was so so funny. 3 The Toppers pizza was delicious.

John Wall

John Wall is a very good basketball player, I really like him he plays point guard just like me. He is a rookie that starts and scores the most points on the team. He's one of the best dribblers in the NBA because he practices all of the time. The one thing that he is very good at that is funny and what I like the best is he can dance. If you go to Youtube and type in john wall pumped up introduction it shows you the awesome dance he does. If you are American you will like it or if you are a John Wall fan. He went to college at Kentucky and played nearly the whole game they think that he is a cheater because their coach had some bad history there but I think he never did and he is one of  my favorite players.

Waterslides

I love waterslides they are just like rollar coasters they go fast they have obsticles except they are in water. There is many types of water slides there are tube slides and body slides body slides I prefer because they go faster and you are in the water more. Tube slides can get you wet depending on what kind of water it has like if it is coming out of the ride or just splashing you. I lot of people like rollar coasters better because you don't get wet and they think they are safer. Me personally I like both of them the same.

                                                            The Chase                                              Alex clement
It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went to the bus station. As a local bystander approached him to ask him a question, he jumped on the bus without paying for his ticket the police were after him but the driver had no idea. The chase was a high speed tempo 80 to 90 mile per hour. The wind was gashing through walls breaking barriers, as the dirt crumples under the cars Bill the runner’s wheels come off the force sent him flying 30 yards away he is making a run for it when the cops car’s wheels come off, but Bill is nowhere in sight. Then the cop calls for help because he is in the middle of Sonoran desert in eastern Arizona. When Bill was running he ran into a sign and fell and hit his head hard.
“Where am I?”
“You’re in the Sonoran desert”
“Who are you?”
“I’m Jerry I’m the CEO of BP” at least for now I am”
As I approached the road he questioned me where are you heading in a low voice. Bill, Bill nowhere to be found bill booked it down the street and his near the border of the Sonoran desert. I’m in the mood for Mexican, as Bill walks into Chili my Taco he sees the police in there he can’t risk being caught. So looks like I’m not having Mexican today as he has to stop a McDonalds for a quick burger. Tragic Bill I am running from the cops in the middle of a desert thirsty out of money and now heading back to the bus station I wonder if they will be convinced.

In summer I always see turtles, turtles are serene animals at least that’s what I think. They can swim eat and they're slow but they are really funny especially the way turtles walk.  During last summer  my neighbor and I found a baby snapping turtle, he bit a lot but it was funny when it bit my little brother and his little brother we had to name him a serious name so people will take him seriously so we named him Bill. Before Bill I never had a turtle or a water animals I have only had cats.

Soccer

I don't like to play soccer its hard and not very fun. I think it's hard because you have to control the ball and you have too score in a goal. I dont't like it also because when you are not very good it's not very fun because you only lose the ball and don't score. I don't know how they play the game.

Rollercoaster’s
Many people don’t like roller coasters and many people do. Some people think they are dangerous and scary but if you get to like it you can really see the joy. I love roller coasters because they are fast and they spin a lot which gives it the excitement you need. I personally love to go to six flags in Darien Lake New York we go there when we visit my grandma everything there is bigger and faster. Six flags in Darien Lake is better in my opinion because it is in the top 10 for biggest and fastest roller coasters. They have the ride of steel which I have gone on it is in the top 5 for biggest drops it has a 305 foot drop right away which makes it fast and fun. Most people are scared of the Ride of steel but I don’t see the need to be scared the bigger the drop the more fun also you are as safe as possible in the seats so you can’t get hurt.

Patriotism

                                                                Patriotism

There is a lot of talk about patriotism; some people say they don’t get enough respect some people say they get too much. What people aren’t looking at is look where we are living we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them. So does patriotism still matter? Yes because they’re protecting us and risking their lives for all of us so the word patriotism reminds me of my grandpa.
If you were to go and talk to my grandpa right now and tell him that patriotism doesn’t matter anymore he would throw a fit. Patriotism is America without it we would not be anywhere they won the war for us and every time we show respect that’s how we pay them back. He told me many stories of him when he was kid and if ever showed disrespect to the flag the country or people you would be beaten with a wooden spoon and that probably hurt a lot. He also said that were to not bow when the star spangled banner was played they would be escorted out of the event that they were at.
Patriotism still matters because; think if you were in the military fighting for us and people didn’t care and thought it doesn’t matter you wouldn’t feel too good. If you acknowledge them every day you will feel better about yourself but even though they can’t here you say it you’ll know that you believed enough and they think right now that we believe in them so if you prove it then you’re telling the truth. Also there is always someone who hears you or believes in you so do the right thing. That’s what my parents always tell me.
Your parents are probably a lot different than mine, but everybody’s parents always had a few stories and if you think patriotism still matters don’t be afraid to let people know just because it might seem cool it is always cool to believe in your country. That’s what my parents taught me and that’s what all of my grandparents taught because all of my uncles served in the military and all of my grandpas served in the military.
